Scott Clark, CFP®, CKA®
Scott graduated from Covenant College with a degree in history. Before Scott entered financial services, he spent time serving on the mission field in Haiti, managing a small business, studying theatrical arts, and teaching.
When he entered financial services over 14 years ago, he started working as a financial advisor for a large, group retirement service company, where he focused on the areas of wealth accumulation, investments, and tax-advantaged planning for education and retirement. Prior to joining PlanFIRST ℠, Scott was a CFP® practitioner and manager of an independent, fee-only, financial planning practice that provided integrated advice on all aspects of a client's financial affairs – cash flow, taxes, investments, estate, education, retirement, insurance, real estate, and business ownership. He is also a Certified Kingdom Advisor®.
He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Sarah, and their six children. He is a member of Woodruff Road Presbyterian Church, serves on the missions committee, and is actively involved in an effort to establish the Reformed Presbyterian denomination in Haiti.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP® in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
